One of the biggest lessons you can learn in life is to remain calm in chaos. You want to become someone who can be relied upon in a crisis. There are going to be numerous occasions when shit hits the fan & everyone starts looking around in the room to find that one person who is calm & composed. You want to strive to be that person. It’s not easy though. The first instinct in any such situation is to panic. But that has never helped anybody.

Jordan Peterson puts it really well in this video.

“You want to be the strongest man on your dad’s funeral.”

Whether it’s a sports game or a family/relationship crisis. We all look for that calm head. Be that. Always focus on analyzing the situation & finding possible solutions.

“True power is sitting back and observing everything with logic. True power is restraint.”
