This post is all about hitting that reset button. It’s all about the word “Declutter” – remove unnecessary items. Beautiful word, isn’t it?

A lot has been going on recently & I didn’t find the time to clear my mind. So here’s how I clear my “brain dump”, as I like to call it. Every thought that crosses my mind & sticks, positive or negative.

  1. The Brain Dump : Sit down, grab a drink & start writing every thought that crosses your mind. There you have it, your very own brain dump.
  2. Analysis : Read & analyse everything you’ve written. Is there any specific thought, incident or emotion that’s bothering you? If yes, dig a bit deeper & try and really find out the root cause.
  3. Acceptance : Accept where you’ve fucked up, what went wrong or not as planned. Note down all your learnings from it & move the fuck on.
  4. Organise : After decoding all the positive & negative thoughts, incidents etc. Organise them into actionable learnings & tasks. If there is something that needs to be done soon, schedule it. If you’ve learned something from a recent experience, note that down & internalise it.

TLDR : If there is something bothering you, grow out of it. Find the root cause of it, exactly pin point why you’re feeling that & maybe write it down somewhere if it helps. Personally, I like to maintain a journal of “Life Learnings” where I note any significant thing I’ve experienced. It acts as a great reminder of how far i’ve come & the things I’ve tackled along the way.  Also helps me extract the learnings from the past & dive into the future.

As long as you’re learning from each experience & incorporating that into your life, it’s all good!
