Our habits run our life & define our lifestyle. They are patterns that ultimately decide how much we get done & the quality of life we’re living.
Sometimes we pickup bad habits & sometimes we pickup good ones. A couple of years ago I developed this beautiful habit of eating a fuck load of chocolate everyday. I was basically gobbling down a chocolate bar almost daily. Anyway, I recognized this habit & made a action plan to quit it. I gave myself healthy alternatives instead of a chocolate initially & as time went on I felt that I had actually gained control over this habit.
“It takes 21 days to create a habit & it takes 90 days to create a lifestyle.”
Now I don’t know how true the numbers are. But I can assure you that there is some truth to this statement. Right now, if you’re dealing with certain habits that you know are a roadblock for you & your dreams, then take that first step at attempting to break the pattern. Ofcourse you’ll fail initially, but that’s not the point. In my experience after successfully trying something for about 3 weeks it become a habit for me & I was successful at breaking the pattern.
It’s hard as fuck though. But all good things are.
